Connector Ship
Connector Ship is a game submitted for the 2026 Game Dev TV Game Jam with the theme Connections. It is heavily inspired by the flash game Frantic.
Gameplay
Enemies have a chance to drop a "chunk" that you can connect to. Each chunk has a different modifier:
- Red: Extra projectile
- Orange: Damage increase
- Blue: Increase fire rate
- Green: Armor chunk (chunk has increased health)
- Yellow: Speed increase
- Purple: Agility increase
Don't let your core chunk (light blue) die!
The game gets more difficult as you progress. The boss adds a new bullet pattern each level. There is no real end, but the boss only adds a new pattern up to level 10.

Mouse to move
Left click to shoot laser (when charged)
ESC to pause and change settings

- Godot 4.6.2
- Reaper (for music and SFX)
- Qwen3.6 27b with Opencode and llama.cpp
AI Usage Disclosure
Local LLM (Qwen3.6 27b) was used to help with writing code. Everything else, including music and SFX, was made by hand.
